2026 Forest School Camps
After the huge success of last year's Forest School summer camp, we have decided to run two themed 3-day camps in 2026.
Please note that our camps are open to children from all schools - not just those who currently attend Austin Friars!
Forest School & Outdoor Cooking
Monday 20th - Wednesday 22nd July 2026
- Make a campfire to cook your own food
- Use tools to make crafts and outdoor art
- Enjoy a variety of fun Forest School activities
- Work together with friends to solve problems
Just £35 per day (£105 total for 3 days) - suitable for children aged 6 - 13
Block World: Inspired by Minecraft
Monday 17th - Wednesday 19th August 2026
- Explore the area and hunt for ingredients
- Trade items and build a shelter
- Learn new craft skills such as whittling
- Cook delicious snacks in the Forest School
Just £35 per day (£105 total for 3 days) - suitable for children aged 6 - 13
Meet the Leader
This year's camps will be led by Abby (Mrs Simpson), a Level 3 qualified Forest School instructor who is passionate about teaching children the importance of outdoor learning and collaborating.
Abby has taught young people for over twenty years and looks forward to welcoming eager explorers to the Forest School at Austin Friars this summer.
Both Forest School camps will also be supported by an assistant and senior helpers.
