Our Open Week was the first step into your journey with Austin Friars.

We are incredibly proud of our local reputation for providing excellent education and a world-class experience to pupils from across Cumbria, South West Scotland, the wider UK and beyond.

Our teachers strive to meet high expectations, stemming from 75 years of top-quality schooling experienced by countless Friars alumni - many of which have gone on to become changemakers and trendsetters in their own incredible ways.

If you were unable to join us during our recent Open Week, don’t worry. We would still love to welcome you to Austin Friars and give you the opportunity to immerse yourself, see the school first-hand, explore our facilities and decide whether we can provide the right environment for your child.

Private tours can be arranged at any time throughout the year. If you would like to arrange a visit, please get in touch with our Admissions team at admissions@austinfriars.co.uk.

Alternatively, if you are not able to visit us in person, we have shared resources below which may help to solidify decisions regarding your child's future.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch, and I look forward to welcoming you soon.

Chris Hattam, Headmaster
